PETA: “Respect rats”

Posted on Monday 18 February 2008

It isn’t getting any easier to take the ultra-radical animal rights group PETA seriously. The Chinese are celebrating the Year-of-the-Rat, and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) seized on the occasion to demand that the Chinese be kind and respectful to the pesky rodent.

PETA has information that otherwise normal people may overlook. In making the case for rat respect a PETA spokesperson said, “Rats sing, they dream, and they express empathy for others.”

Some people have way too much time on their hands.
