You didn’t see this in the mainstream media, but Barbara Boxer threw a hissy-fit over the following language in a Senate resolution to welcome the Pope to America and blocked even a vote on it until after he’d left Washington and the last ten words of this sentence were stripped:
“Whereas Pope Benedict XVI has spoken out for the weak and vulnerable, witnessing to the value of each and every human life.”
