That is not a misprint!  Senator Mitch McConnell offered a series of amendments to expand drilling offshore.  Colorado Sen. Ken Salazar repeatedly said “I object!”  Watch this video of Senate floor proceedings from July 31.

Salazar objected to McConnell’s amendments even if offshore drilling was withheld until gas reached $4.50 per gallon, or $5.00, or $7.50, or even $10 per gallon!

Whose side are these guys on anyway?  Certainly not working families and most especially low income Americans.  Talk about being in the pocket of special interest groups!  The Democrats have been exposed for what they are – pawns of the radical environmental left – and yesterday, Ken Salazar was their spokesman in the United States Senate.
